My culinary journey began in 1999 in India, where my love for authentic flavours took root. After years in top hotels and restaurants, I moved to Canada in 2004 to continue exploring Indian cuisine.
In 2011, I joined Toronto’s iconic Fairmont Royal York before leading kitchens for several of the city’s top Indian brands.
But the dream of creating something my own never faded.
After years spent traveling between India and Canada, discovering new spices and stories, Raahi was born in 2022 — meaning “traveller” in Hindi.
Raahi is more than a restaurant. It’s my story — a celebration of every place, flavour, and person that shaped it.
